Lead Designer under a best value GSA Design Excellence procurement competition format, the new 600,000SF Social Security Campus will be the anchor project in a planned TOD district at the extreme western edge of Baltimore County adjacent to the Reisterstown Metro. The campus is designed to fully engage and connect the urban and natural site contexts, drawing daylight and views deep into the plan via a curvilinear tapering glass volume named the “Arc of Light”. Designed for maximum flexibility of office and administrative spaces and the preservation of residual value as a government lease-back project.
